Digital Thinkers is currently seeking senior
hardware, FPGA and software engineers, as well as senior
avionics and DO-254/178/160 architects and engineers
for the positions listed below. This page is
updated every time our staffing needs change.
All positions are for full-time employment,
with full health insurance and 401k benefits.
The work schedule is flexible and there is a
choice of fixed or hourly salary.
Yearly, quarterly or per-project bonuses are
awarded based on meeting or exceeding predefined
schedule and performance thresholds. All
positions are available at our 8,000 sf
facility in Lisle, Illinois.
Most positions are for new or recently started
projects.

2 Senior avionics architects;

2 Senior avionics engineers;

2 Senior D0-254/178/160 engineers;

7 Senior FPGA designers;

3 Senior hardware engineers;
|

2 Senior digital image processing architects;

|
2 Senior software developers - excellent
knowledge and experience with embedded software required;

|
|
2 lab technicians with networking experience.
|
The majority of the software is or will be
written in C++. Experience with C
and assembler is needed for certain positions
that require writing or maintaining device
drivers. Familiarity with Rational Rose is a
plus. Excellent knowledge of and experience
with embedded software is a must. Experience
with VxWorks, pSoS and SunOS is necessary.
Proficiency in using lab instruments and
lab setup is required, such as the ability to
use logic analyzers, RF sniffers and
oscilloscopes.
At this time only senior applicants with at
least 10 years of experience will be
considered.
